Welcome to Addington Supported Accommodation At Addington Road, we provide high-quality supported accommodation for young people aged 16–17. Our service is designed for young people living together as a small household where support is delivered in a planned, needs-led way. We offer a safe, stable, and nurturing environment rooted in professionalism and compassion. Recognising our residents as emerging adults, our housing-led approach promotes autonomy, choice, and resilience while ensuring safeguarding remains central.
What We Are Offering

Addington Supported Accommodation offers a comprehensive range of facilities and support services tailored to individual developmental pathways.
Support & Development
- Life Skills Training: Hands-on support for budgeting, meal planning, cooking, and maintaining a clean living environment.
- Education & Employment: Support for college courses, apprenticeships, and work-based learning, including the provision of a laptop and study desk.
- Health & Wellbeing: Facilitated access to CAMHS, counselling, and creative therapies (such as art therapy) to support emotional resilience.
- Mentoring & Coaching: 1:1 sessions focused on financial literacy, life coaching, and building self-esteem
Accommodation & Facilities
- High-Standard Bedrooms: Private rooms furnished to a high standard, which young people are involved in personalising.
- Communal Spaces: A modern kitchen, lounge, and a "Zen garden" featuring fruit trees and flowerbeds.
- 24-Hour Staffing: Direct support from 9:00am to 10:00pm, with a dedicated waking night staff member present from 10:00pm to 9:00am.
- Enriched Activity Programme: Access to gym sessions, sports, cultural trips, and community resources to encourage new interests

Trauma-Informed Practice: We use the PACE (Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity, Empathy) model to develop trusting relationships and emotional safety.
Behavioural Understanding: We apply the ABC model (Antecedents, Behaviours, Consequences) to understand behaviour and provide proportionate support.
Empowerment & Accountability: We encourage informed decision-making and personal responsibility to prepare young people for successful independent living.
Inclusive Excellence: We celebrate diversity and are committed to proactively promoting every young person’s racial, ethnic, and cultural identity.
Rights-Based Support: We ensure young people understand their rights, providing access to independent advocacy services such as Coram Voice.
